EDUCATION
Starting in 1985, I studied drawing and painting in continuing education classes at SUNY Purchase. I then studied drawing and sculpture for several years with Martine Vaugel, and painting and drawing with Tony Rider, Ted Jacobs, John Wellington, Vincent Desiderio, and various instructors at New York Academy of Figurative Art. I received an MFA in painting from New York Academy in 1999.

PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATIONS
From 1999 through 2011 I have been affiliated with the Hope For Change Foundation as Set Designer, designing and painting sets for a community theatre group.
